A Different Kind of Youth Theatre

In Aotearoa New Zealand, many people drift from show to show, joining whichever group is producing at the time. At YouBeYou – Ngāmotu Theatre for Youth, we’re building something different: a true club, a community you can be part of every week—whether you’re in the current production or not.

We’re not chasing elites or “the best talent.” Our focus is on learning, growing, and having fun. Maybe you’re not ready to step into the spotlight yet—that’s fine, there’s a place for you backstage. Maybe you’re brimming with confidence but eager to try something new—that’s brilliant too.

Whoever you are, wherever you’re at, and whoever you want to become—you belong here. This is your space to explore, to connect, and to shine.
